1. Payment Terms: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of order. The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 72 hours prior to installation unless agreed in writing. Interest of 2% above the Bank of England base rate per month may be charged on overdue balances along with recovery costs.
2. Retention of Title: All goods remain the property of RS Curtains & Blinds until paid in full. We reserve the right to recover unpaid goods and associated costs.
3. Deposits & Cancellations: Deposits become non-refundable 48 hours after order confirmation once production has commenced. Installation cancellations within 72 hours may incur charges: £50 minimum, £150 half-day, £300 full-day.
4. Delivery & Installation: Dates are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.
5. Manufacturing Defects: Issues must be reported within 72 hours of installation. We reserve the right to repair or replace defective goods at our discretion.
6. Access & Site Responsibility: Clients must provide safe and adequate access. Additional charges may apply for delays caused by restricted access or site conditions.
7. Measurements & Alterations: If changes are made after measurements affecting installation, clients are liable for remanufacture and reinstallation costs. Bespoke goods cannot be returned for change of mind.
8. Supply Only Orders: Clients are fully responsible for measurements and installation. No liability is accepted for incorrect sizes provided.
9. Guarantees: 3-Year Guarantee on blinds and curtains; 5-Year Guarantee on shutters. Covers manufacturing defects only. Excludes misuse, fair wear and tear, environmental damage or third-party alterations.
10. Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
